Southcombe Brothers secures National Fire Glove Contract for Cyprus
Posted: 22nd March 2009Working through a local distributor, Southcombe Brothers has secured a national contract to supply Cyprus with their structural firefighting gloves.The Cyprus Fire Brigade purchased over 1500 pairs of Firemaster® X gloves for 2009.
Due to its winning combination of dexterity and fit, the Firemaster® X was received with huge enthusiasm and was chosen over other, cheaper, alternatives.
"The Cyprus Fire Brigade is notoriously picky on the products it purchases for the Firemen on the island," says Chris Markides of A. Epiphaniou Industries, the distributor of the Firemaster® X . "Overall, there were about a dozen gloves to choose from and the Firemaster® X exceeded almost all the requirements obtaining the highest possible score. The gloves have just now been issued to the Firemen and initial feedback is that they are of excellent quality.
