FIRE
PYROHIDE® was the first grain leather to be used in structural fire fighting gloves. By virtue of the fact that PYROHIDE® is a top grade grain leather rather than a low grade suede or a split, protective properties can be incorporated that prevent absorption of flammable, corrosive or potentially hazardous liquids. Liquids are not absorbed by gloves made from PYROHIDE® but remain on the surface of the grain leather.
The short video illustrates by comparison to a competitor's product (blue suede glove) how the unique properties of PYROHIDE® (lime green and black leather gloves) together with a combination of other materials provide the wearer with exceptional levels of protection against fire hazards.
