SLASH
Slash resistance in Southcombe Brothers' range of gloves is provided by technical fibres, such as KEVLAR® , used predominantly in the lining materials. Tested under laboratory conditions as a section of the EN388:2003 standard, Southcombe Brothers offer a variety of cut protection levels from Level 1 (lowest level) up to Level 5 (highest level). Slash resistant linings are made both as cut and sew inners and as seamless knitted gloves produced on specialised 12 gauge Shima knitting machines.
