Combat (Mark 2) Glove

The latest manifestation of the UK MoD's Infantryman's glove, this style is gauntlet length and made from water-resistant, top-grade, cape sheepskin combat leather supplied by Pittards which has been table cut in the traditional manner. Sewn half pique with a full nylon foam lining, the style can be made with or without a Moisture Vapour Permeable (MVP) interlining which is available in several qualities including Porelle and Gore-tex . The style is finished with an integral internal nylon knitted cuff at the wrist. Originally designed with an adjustable nylon strap across the back of the wrist and a self leather re-inforcement palm and thumb patch, these features were later removed from the specification to produce the model illustrated.
