Building on the reputation and strengths of the two earlier Firemaster models, this glove is the first design in the range to move away from the more basic gunn pattern of its predecessors. It is made in a full inseam design with curved fingers which enhances the natural shape of the hand and ensures the ultimate in comfort, fit and dexterity for the wearer. It incorporates a PYROHIDE® grain leather outer with a slightly heavier weighted leather on the back of the hand for increased heat resistance in this location. We have also added a full self leather palm patch to increase the contact heat resistance in this location as well as increasing the longevity of the product. The outer is completed with a longer length Nomex® / Kevlar® knitted wristlet cuff which contains traces of elastane for extension and recovery properties. A three layer laminated Gore CROSSTECH® pathogen resistant glove insert offering the ultimate in barrier protection is chemically bonded to a Kevlar with glass-fibre seamless knitted lining to provide superior lining retention.
