The Firemaster ® Ultra is a revolution in fire glove design and
technology. Manufactured in the UK to EN659:2003 and NFPA 1971 (2007 edition) and
certified by
Underwriters Laboratories Inc in North Carolina, the Firemaster ®
Ultra is a
full grain leather structural fire-fighting glove that gives superb
protection and dexterity in one. Described as the 'Cadillac of fire
gloves', this flagship design features an outer shell made from
our unique fire, water and chemical resistant PYROHIDE®
grain cowhide leather where a heavier weighted leather has been used on
the back of the hand for increased heat resistance in this location.
Protected by design registration, the style has a unique full inseam
curved finger design and features roll top finger tips which eliminate
the seam from the tip of each finger providing the perfect
combination of fit, comfort and dexterity required by modern
fire-fighters. FR neoprene coated Kevlar® reinforcement patches across
the
palm, thumb, thumb crotch and finger tips provide increased heat
protection, improved
grip and enhanced abrasion resistance where it is most needed. The
style comes with a bespoke Gore CROSSTECH®
pathogen resistant membrane designed specifically for this style and
offering the ultimate in barrier protection. The membrane is chemically
bonded to a cotton Kevlar®
cut and sew lining and secured in two locations to the outer shell on each finger to provide superior lining retention as well as
comfort and protection.
