Curently supplied to the UK's leading Police Force, our Public Order Glove with adjustable strap is designed to withstand the toughest conditions faced by police officers. The gauntlet length outer shell is made from our revolutionary PYROHIDE® grain leather. Internal high energy impact resistant closed cell expanded foam padding is located strategically across the back of the hand, along each finger, across the back of the wrist and along the back of the thumb. This offers protection without adversely affecting fit and dexterity. The palm is protected by self leather overlay patches which also help to extend the life expectancy of the garment. An adjustable leather strap across the back of the hand ensures a tight fitting closure over the top of a tunic. Cut resistance comes from an advanced seamless knitted lining made from Kevlar® with glass-fibre. This lining is also plated with a Viloft yarn offering active perspiration technology which wicks away moisture from the hand. The glove has Type 2, Level 3 approval to BS 7971 Part 6 : 2003 (Gloves for protection against Mechanical, Thermal and Chemical risks - MTC) and is available from stock.
